School visits allow students to discover a new place outside the classroom, while exploring more hands-on learning by focusing on a specific and agreed theme. Schools rarely provide an environment of “decision-makers” conducive to learning and exploratory inquiry. Labs fill this gap and can improve the objectives of the existing classroom program during and after the visit. School visits position themselves as an extra-mural learning process.
The LAB process supports KI’s learning philosophy through play. We encourage collaboration, imagination and creation. In partnership with a classroom, we discuss with the teacher what exactly he wants to achieve through KI laboratories. As a result of this conversation, we will develop and propose a specific program of activities covering a specific timeframe.
